This Privacy Policy explains how the BQA application (“BQA”) handles data. The App is distributed privately and is intended for use only by authorized team members. The App is published by an individual developer and does not represent or operate under a business entity.
1. Information We Collect
The App collects the following data for authentication and app functionality:
- Full name (provided during registration)
- Email address (used for sign-in)
- User ID (assigned by the authentication system)
The App also collects anonymous crash data to improve stability.
No additional personal information beyond what is listed above is collected.
2. User Access
The App includes an authentication system managed through Supabase. Users register with their name, email, and password. Access is granted only to authorized team members through an invitation system.
User credentials are stored securely on Supabase and are never accessible to the developer in plain text.
3. Data Storage
All data is stored securely on Supabase, a managed backend platform.
Supabase stores:
- User authentication data (name, email, hashed password)
- Housekeeping and property management records
- Task and issue tracking data
Firebase is used solely for delivering push notifications. Firebase may store device tokens for this purpose.
The App sends only the minimum data required to operate.
4. How We Use the Data
Collected data is used solely for:
- Authenticating users
- Managing housekeeping tasks and schedules
- Tracking room statuses and issues
- Delivering push notifications
- Improving app stability through crash reporting
This data is not used for analytics, marketing, tracking, profiling, or any external purpose.
5. No Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, share, or transmit data to any third parties.
The only external service involved is:
- Supabase — used for authentication and database hosting
- Firebase Cloud Messaging — used solely for push notifications
No advertising networks, analytics providers, or external trackers are integrated into the App.
6. Device Permissions
The App may request the following device permissions:
- Camera
- Location
- Photos
- Notifications
The App operates without accessing any device features or personal files.
7. Data Security
Data stored in Supabase is protected by industry-standard security practices, including:
- Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
- Row-level security policies on the database
- Hashed and salted password storage
- Authentication for authorized use only
Access to the App is limited to users who receive credentials directly from the developer.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is intended solely for authorized team members and is not directed to children.
No personal information is collected from children under 13.
9. Your Rights
If you wish to request access to, modification of, or deletion of your personal data, you may contact the developer directly. Upon request, your account and associated data can be removed.
